Bravery, Resilience, and Support in Tough Times

To be consistently brave and resilient in business, love and life, we all need support.

And I’m regularly in awe of how Scents of the Wild has attracted the kindest, most thoughtful and considerate people into my world…

Not long after I launched Scents of the Wild last year, I created this positive feedback collage board with customer comments, messages, emails & reviews so that I could hang it on my wall to give me a boost and remind me of the reasons to keep going even when things got tough…

Because I knew that, despite loving what I do, things would inevitably get tough at times!

I came into this business with my eyes wide open from past experience, and knowing full well that every journey - business or otherwise - is filled with ups and downs and challenges and frustrations and things that sometimes make you want to throw your hands up in the air and say,

“I just don’t know if I can do this anymore! I just don’t know if I’m strong enough!”

Because loving what you do, or loving your partner, or loving your life doesn’t mean an absence of challenges…

Which is why we all, no matter what we are doing, need the support of other people who encourage us and help us to feel strong when we don’t.

These people help to remind us that who we are and what we do is valuable.

These people are golden.

And these people for me are certain friends, family, and you, my Scents of the Wild customers, business friends, and community.

While it would take too long and take up too much space to make one of these positive feedback boards now, this most certainly doesn’t mean that your support and feedback means less…

It means every bit as much as it did on day one and I appreciate you hugely!

Journeys are meaningless without other people to share them with.

And in order to be consistently brave and overcome any challenges that inevitably crop up for us, we all need support.

One last very important thing:

Please know that YOU ARE WORTHY OF SUPPORT.

It’s taken me a very long time to learn that for myself.

Love, Rachel x
