Why do you only sell candles?

“Why don’t you also sell tea lights, wax melts, and other candley-type things like other companies do?”

I was asked a similar question to this recently, and my answer was, “I’m working on it… but I’m slow!” By ‘slow’, what I mean is…

Scents of the Wild is a one-woman business and I currently don’t have help with any aspect of the business (apart from my fiancé, Niko, who very kindly often delivers packages to the post office).

This means that developing & releasing new products has to happen at the same time as all the other many things that go into running a business and, as a result, it takes time (as frustrating as that can sometimes be when I just want to make ALLLLL the things happen NOW!)… :)

Also, because every single natural soy wax candle is handmade & hand decorated in a very small batch size, this is a very labour-intensive & time-consuming way to make candles.

But I wouldn’t have it any other way because I LOVE the creative process and I think it creates a special, high quality, & truly unique product!

What also slows me down is that every single Scents of the Wild natural candle fragrance is designed from scratch...

Instead of using pre-blended, ready made fragrance or single essential oils, what I’m passionate about is blending pure, high quality essential oils - with valuable therapeutic benefits - to make my own beautiful & unique aromatherapy blends!

It’s very important to me that Scents of the Wild candles not only smell gorgeous but that their natural scents have a tangible effect on the mood & emotions so my customers experience real benefits from using them.

If you’ve ever wondered about any of this, I hope I've done a decent job of explaining it!

…And just so you know, natural soy wax melts, unscented soy tea lights, and essential oil diffuser blends are coming this year (and probably in that order!)...

And I REALLY can’t wait to be able to share all of these things with you!
