Wax Melt Size & Burn time: Each botanical wax melt weighs approximately 7g and will give around 4-8 hours of beautifully calming fragrance, depending on your sensitivity to scent.

Top Note - Petitgrain Essential Oil (Citrus aurantium var. amara): With its beautiful light floral and slightly citrus aroma, Petitgrain is known to be calming & cheering to the emotions.
Top Note - Bergamot Essential Oil (Citrus bergamia): Bergamot has a fragrant light citrus aroma and is probably best know for being used to flavour Earl Grey tea. This essential oil is known to be calming & uplifting to the emotions.
Mid Note - Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia): With its herbal, floral aroma, True Lavender is widely known for its calming and relaxing therapeutic benefits.
Base Note - Cedarwood Virginiana essential oil (Juniperus virginiana): With its deep, woody aroma, Cedarwood Virginiana is known to have calming & sedative therapeutic benefits.

+ How many hours of fragrance can I expect from my Tranquil Earth scented wax melts?
You can expect to enjoy approximately 4-8 hours of beautifully natural fragrance from our Tranquil Earth scented wax melts, depending on your sensitivity to scent. Bliss! When the scent has faded, you can slide the disc of wax out of your burner (once it has cooled) and replace with a fresh wax melt.
+ What are the little packets the natural wax melts come in made from?
To keep our natural wax melts fresh, we package them in little recyclable, compostable & biodegradable glassine bags (a type of paper) meaning they’re both environmentally-friendly and super simple for you to dispose of.
+ How will my Tranquil Earth wax melts be packaged when you post them to me?
We know how annoying it is when items arrive wrapped in all sorts of plastic packing materials! It's also totally unneccessary to pack most items this way. As a small, eco-conscious business, we package all of our soy candles and natural wax melts in either recycled or recyclable, eco-friendly materials to post them safely to you. No nasty plastic packaging for you to have to deal with and dispose of!
+ Why do you use soy wax for your wax melts?
Like our candles, we choose to make our scented wax melts from natural soy wax because it’s healthier and more environmentally friendly than paraffin wax. Soy wax is a natural, renewable resource that is non-toxic.
The soy wax we use is non-GMO and sustainably produced in Europe, making it even kinder to the environment. (Much of the soy wax used in candle and wax melt-making is produced in the US and comes from genetically modified soy crops.)
+ Why do you scent your wax melts with essential oils rather than artificial fragrance?
Essential oils are a wonderful, natural home fragrancing option for anyone who doesn’t like overpowering, artificial scents and wants to avoid using artificially scented, synthetic chemical-based products in their home.
Also, people who experience physical reactions such as headaches or nausea from being exposed to artificial fragrance often find that they don’t experience the same unpleasant side-effects when it comes to 100% pure essential oils.
Pure essential oils also have the additional benefit of having therapeutic benefits that artificial fragrances don’t. Our natural wax melts aim to harness both the gorgeous natural scents and also the valuable therapeutic benefits of pure essential oils, helping you to relax, unwind, and uplifting your mood through the power of aromatherapy.
+ Why would I choose to use natural scented wax melts instead of a naturally scented candle?
One of the main benefits of our natural wax melts compared to our naturally scented candles is that they provide a slightly stronger and more instant scent ‘hit’, whereas a naturally scented candle can take a bit of time to get going and releasing its full fragrance experience.
This makes wax melts particularly convenient when you don’t have time to sit down for a prolonged period and enjoy your candle but still want to enjoy a gorgeous, more instant burst of scent (with the caming & soothing therapeutic benefits of the essential oils).
For instance, you might choose to use your natural wax melts by day and your candle by night when you perhaps have more time to sit and enjoy the flickering flame and comforting glow of your candle jar.
+ How do I use natural wax melts?
Place a natural wax melt in the top of your burner. Trim the wick on your tea light and light the tea light in your burner. Relax and enjoy the beautiful scent that is released as the wax melts into a fragrant and pretty pool with natural flower petals floating in it. Natural scent heaven!
*For safety, after 3 hours of burning, extinguish the tea light (if it hasn’t already burned out) and allow the burner and wax to cool again. You can keep re-melting the same natural wax melt until there is no more fragrance left. Once the fragrance has gone, you can discard the remaining, cooled disc of solid wax and replace with a new wax melt.
** Our natural wax melts are also suitable for using in electric burners if you prefer to enjoy them this way.
